The Half Way Point of the Season

The Colorado Avalanche started off the season pretty rough. They were horrible on home ice but not too bad on away games. But still around 25th overall and there are only 30 teams. That’s awful… But man have they turned around their game…. Their defense has really gotten a lot better, and goal tending has stepped up, there are even a lot of young guys scoring and upping their games, Matt Duchene has been amazing so far. The 20-year-old was second on the Avalanche in scoring (12g/12a) at the time of his injury, but is now out until the beginning of February maybe later with a knee injury. The only thing that would be even better for the Colorado Avalanche is for Milan Hejduk and Paul Stastny to start putting up more points and score some more goals… Colorado is now in the hunt for the playoffs… Go Avs Go!
