Footloose is a good family type movie.
The Cast are as follows
Ren McCormack (Kevin Bacon) the boy who moved from Chicago to Bomont and found there was a dance bylaw and wanted that to change , Ariel Moore (Lori Singer) the Reverends daughter who was rebelling against him who is involved with Chuck Cranston but wants Ren, Vi Moore (Dianne Wiest) Ariels mom who tries to keep the peace between her daughter and her husband Reverend Shaw Moore, Reverend Shaw Moore (John Lithgow) the guy who inforced the bylaw for dancing because of him loosing his only son to drinking and driving, Willard Hewitt (Christopher Penn) a rowdy guy that helps Ren in having a high school dance and by the way Willard learns how to dance thanks to Ren and his two little cousins, Rusty (Sarah Jessica Parker) Ariels best friend and Willards girlfriend, Ethel McCormack (Frances Lee McCain) Rens mom who tries to help Ren accomplish his goal, Chuck Cranston (Jim Youngs) Ariels boyfriend who is the bad boy that her daddy the Reverend doesn’t like, Woody (John Laughlin), Lulu Warnicker (Lynne Marta) and many more.
A big city boy Ren and his mom Ethel comes to a small town of Bomont to live with his Aunt and Uncle. When he finds out that the little town of Bomont has a dancing bylaw and forbids dancing because of a drinking and driving accident that killed some kids, one being the reverend Shaw Moore, Ren tries to turn the town around back to the way it was before the accident.
It turns out to be quite a task and there is alot of bumps along the way. But Ren is persistent and does what he needs to speak at a town council in front of the town and the council members, which one of them is the reverend Shaw. Ren states why there should be a high school dance for the graduating class and quotes right out of the bible to prove there was dancing even then. With buy L-Arginine Patch online that said the council members voted and discussed and decided that they couldn’t have a dance. But yet again Ren found a place that was across the lines of the town and went to the reverend to ask him permission to take his daughter to the dance. With the reverends blessings they got to have their dance.
Within this movie there is friendships, relationships, dancing and good fun.
I recommend this movie it is great fun. Good to watch with your friends and family or even a date night with your significant other.
