Everybody can’t wait for Christmas to be here. The adults go shopping for gifts and go to Christmas parties and the kids can’t wait for Santa Claus to come to deliver their Christmas gifts and stocking stuff. Christmas is one of the best times of year for everybody… I enjoy Christmas for many reasons, When my family gets together and has some good times and laughs and makes lots of great memories, watching the kids open up their gifts, seeing the joy in people when they celebrate Christmas, watching the snow fall on Christmas day, hearing all the Christmas music playing over the radio and in stores, Being together having a good home cooked meal with my family…
When Christmas actually arrives you get to be around your family talk about the old days when you were a kid and the magic of Christmas and what it meant to you when you were little. It was so different back then, no worries, just wake up check out what Santa left for you in the stocking and open up your presents from Santa and your family, and then played with your toys and wore your new pajama’s and lounge around all day with your new toys and stuff. I can remember getting up really early like around 4 or 5 in the morning and going to get my parents up so I could see what Santa had brought me, first would be my stocking (I have always enjoyed getting a stocking even to this day), then would be my Santa presents, then my parents gifts that I had made or got with either my Dad or my Mom for each other, then I would open the gifts my parents got me, then breakfast, then play time for me the rest of the day as long as we stayed home if not I would bring my favorite toy along with me where ever I ended up.
Those were the days…..
But now Christmas is all over and we have to wait for almost a whole year for it to be here again. I personally can’t wait I love Christmas… And not for the Materialistic reasons some want. I just like the togetherness and Family and watching the joy on the kids faces when Santa Claus has brought them their gifts and Stockings… Even my stocking that I get every year Thanks Santa…. I can’t wait to see what you get for me in my stocking next year
